Tata Consultancy Services Limited (TCS) has taken up more space in an infotech park near this Gujarat capital, it was announced Wednesday. Creative Infocity Limited, which operates the IT Park, said the firm has taken three floors in IT Tower-3, measuring around 90,000 sq ft.

Announcing the deal, Creative Infocity director Hiten Barot told reporters that TCS, which already has 1,15,000 sq ft of space, bought entire second, third and forth floor of the tower for expansion.

Creative Infocity provides a comprehensive platform to IT/ITES companies to set up their operations in the park. "Our excellent service was a key factor for TCS to expand. At Infocity, we don't give only office but also home, shopping with all basic necessities, entertainment like club and resorts and five-star hotel, multiplexes, high-end commercial and residential spaces in near vicinity," added Barot.

Talking about the park's expansion, Barot said: "480 well-furnished studio/services apartments have been constructed to accommodate employees of various IT companies at Infocity."
