Salary matters discussed at IIM-A board meet |

AHMEDABAD: The first day of the meeting of board of governors of Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A) concluded with discussions on salary matters, for which faculty members are already at odds with ministry of human resource development (MHRD).
The two-day meeting, being held at Udaipur, began on Friday. Roll of faculty members in management decision and whether it needs to be reduced was also discussed. A major point in talks was satellite centre of the institute that is to come up in Hyderabad.
Members of Committee on Future Directions (CFD) also presented future action plan of the institute. The presentation will continue on Saturday. No major decisions were taken by the board on day one.
