Strike stops transactions worth Rs1,100 cr

Nearly Rs 1100 crore worth of transactions came to a standstill with about 25,000 bank employees in Gujarat going on a 24-hour strike. The nation-wide strike by trade unions to protest price rise and violation of labour laws also resulted in flights from the city being cancelled.....
